TankTrasa Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The controller of personal data collected through TankTrasa (the website tankomat.app and the iOS app) is Szymon Dukla (“Operator”), tax ID (NIP): 6692544511. Contact: hi@tankomat.app.

2. What we collect

• Account data: email address, username, hashed password (and a Google user ID if you sign in with Google).
• Billing data (optional, website only): company name, address, tax ID for Data API invoices. The iOS app is free and does not process payments.
• Technical data: IP address, browser or device type, device-session identifier (map use without an account).
• Location (iOS app): your position while the app is in use, so we can recommend a nearby station. Optional background location is used only to detect a visit to a fuel station and ask you to update a stale price. We do not continuously track your route.
• Push notifications (iOS): an APNs device token, only for price alerts you enable.
• Preferences: notification settings, selected fuel type, vehicles in Garage, optional price reports.

3. Why we process data

• To provide the refuel decision assistant (recommendation, map, route, alerts).
• To fulfil payments and tax duties (paid B2B Data API on the website only).
• To communicate with you (email verification, password reset, support, alerts).
• Website analytics and product improvement, if you allow event tracking in Settings → Privacy.

4. Recipients

We share data with third parties only when needed to run the service:

• Resend: transactional email (verification, password reset, notifications).
• Apple: push delivery (APNs) and on-device sign-in.
• Google: only if you use Sign in with Google.
• Payment processors: only for paid Data API services on the website (not iOS).

5. Cookies and analytics

The website uses cookies to keep your session. We also use analytics tools to understand how people use the site.

You can turn website event tracking off in Settings → Privacy. The iOS app does not use a third-party analytics or advertising SDK.

6. Your rights

You may:

• Access your data and receive a copy.
• Rectify (correct) your data.
• Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Restrict processing.
• Object to processing.

8. TankTrasa Data API

Commercial API customers provide company details (name, tax ID, billing address, invoice email) and API usage metadata (credit use, keys, request logs). See the Data API privacy policy and Data API terms. This policy covers the driver map, driver accounts, and the iOS app — B2B products have separate legal documents.
